What is Peer Support? Peer Support is provided by an individual who has experienced mental health challenges first-hand. We have many peer supporters on our team with lived experience in a number of areas including anxiety, depression, addiction , grief and loss, plus family and workplace challenges. Peer support is not therapy nor is it a clinical service. It is an opportunity to be listened to by a person who has no judgment, no plans to fix you and perspective of similar experiences and their own recovery journey. No one can understand mental health issues better than someone who lives with it every day.
